Jobs i want to hold(HRM)assignment2

JOBS I WANT TO HOLD SOMEDAY

Nowadays in these high -tech generation ,IT professions are everywhere . Industries , are looking for applicants that has enough knowledge dealing with new technologies acquired for the job . Business , are adopting IT /IS change for improvement on the services of the company. Schools, IT is courses is in demand. Students, are involve in accessing the net . Families ,can easily see there relative on the other country. These are the evidences that knowledge on technologies are everywhere. Which I’ve also considered why I choose these course.

Entering a college life ,some student doesn’t know the course they pursue .With a little knowledge and interest on it, they enrolled not knowing the career should be in that course. Dealing with myself I admit I really encounter that kind of experience .I don’t have enough knowledge with my course Bachelor of Science in Information Technology all I know that it have a little connection on accountancy which is 1st on my list of possible course I should enroll but since I enrolled in this university I choose this course cause it in demand and appropriate in this generation . I never regret enrolling here though it is hard but it is challenging.

Now that I am on 3rd year level ,I have choosen many career that I should like to hold. Though I’m not yet deciding I know that all of the jobs description are connected to one another as long as soon you can develop skills about those jobs

These are my possible jobs want to hold:


Web developer

Job description

Web designers are responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of a website. This role may overlap with that of a Multimedia programmer and web architect. Using a combination of graphic design skills and technical knowledge of how web pages are created, the work involves:"

♥liaising closely with a customer or client at the design stage and finding the answers to questions about why the site is needed, who the target audience will be, who the leading competitors are, etc;


♥producing a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required;


♥writing web pages in a combination of codes, such as HTML and XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript, ColdFusion, .Net, Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver and Visual Studio;


♥deciding on how images and other material will be digitally optimised and presented for the web;




♥ensuring that material on the web site is accessible to all groups including those with disabilities;


testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions;


♥fixing errors.


"Web designers will have knowledge of graphic design packages such as Fireworks or Photoshop in order to produce basic layout and manipulate images. Skills in e-commerce and server side technologies, such as PHP and .Net, and internet security are also important. As users gain faster access to the internet via broadband, web designers with skills in multimedia and interactivity are likely to be in greater demand. “

→→→But then I never learned it as of now since in our I never meet IT Fundamentals subject that the new curriculum had . But hoping soon I could learn it .


Systems Analyst


Job description

“A systems analyst is responsible for researching, planning, coordinating and recommending software and system choices to meet an organization's business requirements. The systems analyst plays a vital role in the systems development process. A successful systems analyst must acquire four skills: analytical, technical, managerial, and interpersonal. Analytical skills enable systems analysts to understand the organization and its functions, which helps him/her to identify opportunities and to analyze and solve problems. Technical skills help systems analysts understand the potential and the limitations of information technology. The systems analyst must be able to work with various programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms. Management skills help systems analysts manage projects, resources, risk, and change. Interpersonal skills help systems analysts work with end users as well as with analysts, programmers, and other systems professionals.

Because they must write user requests into technical specifications, the systems analysts are the liaisons between vendors and the IT professionals of the organization they represent[1] They may be responsible for developing cost analysis, design considerations, and implementation time-lines. They may also be responsible for feasibility studies of a computer system before making recommendations to senior management.

Basically, a systems analyst performs the following tasks:

  • Interact with the customers to know their requirements
  • Interact with designers to convey the possible interface of the software
  • Interact/guide the coders/developers to keep track of system development
  • Perform system testing with sample/live data with the help of testers
  • Implement the new system
  • Prepare High quality Documentation

Many systems analysts have morphed into business analysts. And, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that "Increasingly, employers are seeking individuals who have a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in information systems."
