Its such a good thing having a of the nation address(SONA) of the president since it shows to people the achievements brought by the leadership of the president.Last July 27,2009 she made her SONA .Here, she have tackled complement of her leadership such a financial assessment, infrastructure, ,agriculture ,housing ,people and etc.
Like MIS(management of information system) we have assignment in this subject HRM(human resource management) to do an assumption that I had heard/read on the SONA of the President last month (July 2009),and I should identify at least 3 areas related to Human Resource Mangement and explain how these areas can improve our quality of life.
For the passed discussion we have known what is HRM .|It is a managing human resource. It involves work, benefits of the workers, in simple word they handle people .It such a hard thing to do because we can’t dictate people as a robot so its should be favor to and not against to people who are concern.
In the SONA of our president he stated some site that involves for having a good HRM in our coutry,putting people first:
"Towards that vision, we made key reforms. Our economic plan centers on putting people first. Higit sa lahat, ang layunin ng ating patakaran ay tulungan ang masisipag na karaniwang Pilipino. New tax revenues were put in place to help pay for better healthcare, more roads, and a strong education system. Housing policies were designed to lift up our poorer citizens so they can live and raise a family with dignity. Ang ating mga puhunan sa agrikultura ay naglalayong kilalanin ang ating mga magsasaka bilang backbone ng ating bansa, at bigyan sila ng mga modernong kagamitan to feed our nation and feed their own family."
“The draft SONA indicated the President will present the stark reality that economic growth has slowed although the country remains better off than most other nations. Keeping the country from global recession will be hard but she will say she has never stepped back from any challenge.”These is the principle of our president ,the resource manager of our country .She is always concern of the people and its need as well as the country.
EDUCATION“We must give them every opportunity to use their God-given talents to lift themselves up. Education is the ticket to better life,”
Education is the a central principle of President’s administration because we cannot have a high quality of life without a good economy, and she said “And the only way for our hard-working citizens to take advantage of a strong economy is through attaining a sound education”.In these principle ,our country can build a human resource to a good one and could help the economy in its best. We can build a responsible human resource by attaining much education .she have also stated that
“Nothing is more sacred or more valuable to enhancing the dignity of every Filipino than a good education. No issue is more to us than education. Our children, the children of our nation are our most precious to us,” She have cleared that Filipino’s dignity starts from our good education and these is more sacred that’s why children should attain education for soon they can help our economy .
They provided provided college and post-graduate education for over 600,000 scholars. These would help to those Pilipino citizen that doesn’t have much money but willing to study and to graduate ,many student attain that. Our president stated that“Our educational system should make the Filipino fit not just for whatever jobs happen to be on offer today, but also for whatever economic challenge life will throw in their way.” She insist that our education system should not just apply the jobs for today but also could be useful in whatever economic challenge .
OVERSEAS FILIPINOS“Sa hirap at ginhawa, pinapatatag ang ating bansa ng ating Overseas Filipinos. Iyong padala nilang $16 billion noong isang taon ay record. Itong taon, mas mataas pa”
“Kasama ng ating mga OFWs, they more than doubled our foreign exchange reserves Pinalakas ang ating piso at naiwasan ang lubhang pagtaas ng presyo. They upgraded our credit because while the reserves of our peers have shrunk this past year, ours reserves grew by $3 billion”
OFW has the big help for the country’s eonomy they help our foreign exchange reserves doubled. They that upgraded our credit ,our reserves grew by $3 billion.
These proves that human resource from the Philippines has the best because we are hardworking and we love our country too much that’s why our foreign exchange were doubled. These Overseas worker should be safe and be care by our government because other’s country president were proud of Filipinp workers .
Government are concern to there safety of those abusing alien to our beloved countrymen. They studied the problem and work out better policies on migrant labor, or by saving lives and restoring liberty.
AGRICULTURE“Ang ating mga puhunan sa agrikultura ay naglalayong kilalanin ang ating mga magsasaka bilang backbone ng ating bansa, at bigyan sila ng mga modernong kagamitan to feed our nation and feed their own family.”
Agricultue is one of the concern of the government since these is the backbone of our country .And they should have an equipment for them to easily done their jobs and can produce efficient supply of foods top our country.
The HRM manager should concern to the things that the company’s backbone or what is the things helped the company grow . These is also concern of our president since agriculture is our backbone in supplying vegetable ,fruit ,food not only in our country but also other country as well that’s why they should concern how these department be improved.
